This Refund Policy outlines the terms under which SaveMyDate processes refund requests for subscription plans purchased on our platform at savemydate.in. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchase. By subscribing to any paid plan, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund Policy.
1. Overview
SaveMyDate is a digital matrimonial platform. Upon purchasing a subscription plan, you gain immediate access to premium features including the ability to send interests, view contact details, and receive priority placement. Because our services are delivered digitally and access is granted immediately, our general policy is that subscription fees are non-refundable.
This policy is consistent with the nature of digital services under Indian consumer protection guidelines. However, we recognize that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we have outlined specific exceptions below.
2. Non-Refundable Services
The following are not eligible for a refund under any circumstances:
- Change of mind: If you decide you no longer wish to use the platform after purchase
- Partial usage: If you have used the platform for any period during your subscription
- Profile rejection: If your profile is rejected by our admin team after payment (you may appeal the rejection or request a plan transfer to a future approved profile)
- Account suspension: If your account is suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms & Conditions
- Dissatisfaction with matches: We do not guarantee specific match outcomes; dissatisfaction with suggested matches is not grounds for a refund
- Expired subscriptions: Refunds are not available for subscriptions that have already expired
- Unused subscription time: If you delete your account before your subscription period ends, the remaining time is not refundable
3. Eligible Exceptions
We will process a full refund in the following specific circumstances:
Duplicate Charge
If you were charged more than once for the same subscription plan due to a technical error or payment gateway issue, we will refund the duplicate amount in full.
Technical Failure — Service Not Delivered
If a payment was successfully deducted from your account but your subscription was not activated due to a technical failure on our end, and we are unable to resolve this within 72 hours of your report, you are eligible for a full refund.
Service Permanently Discontinued
In the unlikely event that SaveMyDate permanently shuts down its services before your subscription period ends, we will provide a pro-rated refund for the unused portion of your subscription.
Unauthorized Transaction
If a transaction was made on your account without your authorization and you report it to us within 48 hours, we will investigate and process a refund if the claim is verified.
4. Refund Process
To request a refund under one of the eligible exceptions above, please follow these steps:
- Contact us within 7 days of the transaction date. Refund requests submitted after 7 days of the original transaction will not be considered, except in cases of unauthorized transactions (48-hour window).
- Email us at info@savemydate.in with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Registered Mobile Number]"

- Your full name as registered on SaveMyDate
- Registered mobile number
- Transaction/Order ID (available in your email confirmation or Razorpay receipt)
- Date and amount of the transaction
- Reason for the refund request (with supporting evidence if applicable)
- Our team will review your request within 5 business days and communicate the outcome via email.
- If approved, the refund will be initiated to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.
5. Refund Timeline
Once a refund is approved and initiated by SaveMyDate, the time for the amount to reflect in your account depends on your payment method:
These timelines are estimates and may vary depending on your bank or payment provider. SaveMyDate is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment processors.
6. Payment Gateway — Razorpay
All payments on SaveMyDate are processed through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS Level 1 compliant payment gateway. When a refund is approved:
- SaveMyDate initiates the refund through the Razorpay dashboard
- Razorpay processes the refund to your original payment method
- You will receive a refund confirmation from Razorpay via SMS/email
For any payment-related disputes that we are unable to resolve, you may also raise a dispute directly with Razorpay or your bank/card issuer. However, we encourage you to contact us first at info@savemydate.in so we can resolve the issue promptly.
7. Disputes & Chargebacks
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or card issuer without first contacting SaveMyDate, we reserve the right to:
- Suspend your account pending investigation
- Provide evidence to the bank/card issuer to contest the chargeback
- Permanently ban your account if the chargeback is found to be fraudulent
We strongly encourage you to contact us directly at info@savemydate.in before initiating a chargeback. Most issues can be resolved quickly and amicably.
